A departure from
the usual right angles, this lovely table is alive with a blend of
circular, waved and rectangular forms. At the bottom,
rectangular and right angled feet are gently tapered to their
straight edged toes. Capped with curved 'slippers' that
compliment the pedestal form, they create an elegant base for the
rest of the piece to rise from. The pedestal is conceived in
a gently balanced wave form that supports the table top.
Surprise! It's a rare find to discover a round table of this
caliber that also includes a drawer.
Margaret's Table is constructed of
walnut, but is available in other fine woods as well. The
entire table is solid hardwood except for the round apron which in
the display sports an ornamental curly walnut veneer.
